WHO GOES THERE?

WE GOT A PACKAGE

So...now the only thing we have yet to lay eyes on are the insert trays, which should be coming soon, as well as the rules that we intentionally held back on to give as much time to blind test as possible. The question now...what does our timeline look like? As of now, we are technically still in our window for May delivery, but as everyone knows, that's potentially a reach depending on how a few more blocks fall.  With Chinese New Year upon us, the manufacturer has indicated that we should have everything produced and assembled mid-April.  We had wanted to be a little further along at this point, but are most concerned with getting it right and delivering the best quality game we can.  Assuming the packages are ready to set sail mid-April as they've suggested, we may get lucky with a shipping schedule to hit immediately, or we may have to wait up to two weeks for the boat.  We certainly hope for the former, but that's not in our hands.  From there, we will be looking at 30 to 45 days to land with each fulfillment house in Australia, United Kingdom, Canada and the United States.  Customs and inspections will also factor into the timing. All this said, reality suggests late May for some deliveries to start shipping, early to mid June for others.  This isn't exactly the timeline we originally hoped, but I do believe we will all be thrilled once you get your hands on it.  Until then, thank you for your patience and excitement!  We're close!

DICE, CUPS AND A RESULT OR TWO

First, I would like to say thanks for all that voted for Who Goes There? in the BGG most anticipated list.  We made a good showing, ending up at the #11 spot for the overall, and I believe top 10 for the other categories.  I was hoping for a top 10 finish for marketing reasons, but we are really happy to be on the list at all. Thank you!

Also, we introduced these Certifiable Dice Cups and Dice during the Stuffed campaign, and I just added them to the Who Goes There? add-on list as well.  You absolutely don't need them, but for those of you that may be interested, I just wanted to make them available to you.  We have three colors to choose from. Each has the Certifiable metal key attached and the Certifiable logo embossed at the bottom of the cup.  Made with "pleather" (fake leather) and has blue felt on the inside, and each cup comes with two Certifiable branded dice.  They are $15 each, or two of the same color for $25, or you can get one of each color for $30.  

Don't get me wrong, these don't hold a candle to the Sugar Goat dice cup label we gave you during the campaign, but they are still available nonetheless.  If you have trouble adding them to your order, shoot me a message and I can do it for you.  I'm trying to finalize my quantities next week so they would be able to ship with the rest of your order.

THE BOX AND THE BEG

Would you like a quick look at the final box art for the different Who Goes There? game versions to end your week?  They haven't changed too much from the campaign, but we are excited to put the final touches on them, and we can't wait to see them being unboxed in the coming months.  

Also, we are still begging for your votes for BGG's Most Anticipated Games of 2018.  Only 48 hours left.  We are barely in the top 20, but that's with only 8% of you voting.  We can do better than that, right?  For a small game company like us, it would really mean a lot to make the list.  Who Goes There? is nominated in 5 categories.  OVERALL, ORIGINAL / INNOVATIVE, CROWD FUNDED, THEMATIC, and HORROR.  Please VOTE!!!

THE PROCESS AND A CON OR TWO

We are making great strides and getting closer to a finished prototype for Who Goes There?  Lots of back and forth with the manufacturer to bring this Thing to life!  If you are curious, here is a little peek into some of the process. 

Also, Brian and I had a great time at PAX South for our first convention with a booth. It was great to meet so many amazing backers, and we even shockingly found some people that hadn't heard of us.  In fact, I'm pretty sure that describes 99.9% of them. :)  

Now we are looking to make a presence at future conventions to introduce ourselves to more gamers.  Unfortunately, we didn't get into Gen Con (message us if you could help with this), but are considering attending and running an event. We are also going to try our best to get into PAX Unplugged and Essen SPIEL, and maybe even Origins. What do you think?  What conventions are you planning on attending this year?

Last, but not least, we still have over two hundred backers that haven't completed their survey yet  If you are part of this group, what are you waiting for?  Prove you are human!

As mentioned, there are still some changes coming. Such as placement of the numbers on the helicopter dice, but that's all being addressed as we speak.

What hasn't been addressed yet is your vote for Who Goes There? as one of BGG's most anticipated games (we know that's not totally true for some of you).  Please vote!  Who Goes There? is nominated in five categories. OVERALL, ORIGINAL / INNOVATIVE, CROWD FUNDED, THEMATIC AND HORROR.  As a small game company, this would mean so much more to us than those other games you back! :)
