Is it already November?  Afraid so.  The year certainly flies by when you're busy. What's keeping us busy? The guys have been working hard getting all the Who Goes There? assets to the manufacturer, and we have now delivered all the miniatures to start building the molds for Who Goes There?  Would you like to meet the team?

Anthony has also made the final tweaks on the Infection Clicker to make it, well...CLICK!

And we can't forget the final roll!  

Now we will wait for the prototypes to be created and hopefully mass production soon thereafter.  We've also been blind testing the rules and making tweaks as clarification has been needed.  We hope to get them as close to perfect as we can prior to sending it to our professional rules editor. 

Now that we are in the waiting mode as the Thing comes to life on the other side of the world, we are going to turn our attention to our next game...STUFFED.  

Remember that Sugar Goat bonus card for Stuffed you didn't know what to do with? Here's your chance to put it to good use! 

Stuffed is a 2 to 4 player dice/card game, with the two player version lasting 10 to 20 minutes. In other words, it's a great filler game if you find yourself freezing to death in the second round of Who Goes There?  We launch STUFFED Monday, November 13th at 10am Mississippi time! We hope you'll join us!

For those of you that completed your survey for Who Goes There?, your order is locked down and you have now been charged. In doing so, you unleashed any digital rewards you may be due. This includes the Who Goes There? e-book, Digital Posters, and of course...the coveted Sugar Ponies Print 2 Play!  

If you didn't complete your survey, please do so as soon as you can. We need to finalize our production quantities so we can get things ordered.  Even if you are happy with no reward at $1, it would be helpful to complete your survey saying so.  Right now, we have over 500 unanswered surveys, so not knowing what you intend to do is difficult to plan for.  Any help in knowing where you stand is appreciated.

Some of you may be aware Jesse and I had a little bet going on regarding Sugar Ponies. Well, no surprise to me...I WON! Thank you for your help. What did I win, you may be wondering? You'll see later this week!  I will tell you it is super sweet, but you'll just have to see it for yourself.  

Thanks for all your help!  Can't wait to get this game in your hands!

READY TO LOCK'EM UP?

This month has flown by! It's really hard to believe September is nearing an end, but that means we're one month closer to WHO GOES THERE?, right?

As they so elegantly and succinctly mentioned, we are going to lock down the pledges for those of you that have answered the survey Monday.  If you haven't done so yet, please get your surveys complete as soon as you can. Once I lock them down and charge the credit cards, we'll send the digital rewards.  This includes the WHO GOES THERE? e-book, digital posters, and the SUGAR PONIES print and play.  Quite a few of you have already committed to buying the actual version sight unseen, which is pretty amazing. So, how do you play?  Well, we still intend to do a playthrough soon, but we've been so busy getting WHO GOES THERE? ready for production, we haven't done so yet.  Still, we think it may only be fair to share the rules in the meantime. Check them out and see what you think.  You have until Monday to make any changes to your pledge (of course, now that you see how wonderful the game is, I'm sure we'll sell out, right?)

WHO GOES THERE? THE PLEDGE MANAGER! THAT'S WHO!

The time has come to manage your pledge! This is the time to make any adjustments, add any THINGS that caught your eye, whether you already pledged for it or want to do so now. It's also the time to tell us where you live, and to actually pay for the shipping that we held off on until now.  So...here are a few things to know.

PLEDGE LEVELS

You can switch pledge levels at this time. If you were in a NO REWARD, or $1 TIER, you must switch to another tier if you want the game. To switch tiers, look beneath the big green GET STARTED button to the rather obscure WANT TO SWITCH YOUR PLEDGE LEVEL? button. I also made a pledge question to prompt you in case you miss it.  

For those of you in the EARLY tiers, you can still change to another discounted early tier, but not the way I thought.  If you want to change your pledge level, go ahead. You won't technically still be in an early tier, but I can tell you were originally and will apply a $5 discount to your pledge within the new tier. Just send me a note alerting me to the change, and I'll adjust it right away. 

SHIPPING

The dreaded shipping charges are here.They are in line with the ranges I originally posted, but still, shipping just isn't fun. Each pledge level has the appropriate shipping fee associated with it based on the actual weight of the games. When you add more games beyond what's already included, a $1.50 shipping fee per pound will be added, but this does NOT count for any of the add-ons such as the Coin, Sugar Ponies, Clickers, Dice, etc...because shipping for those items will be free. We also included ENDANGERED ORPHANS as a possible add-on.  If you are willing to wait until WGT? ships, it would only be $3.00 to ship, instead of the $10 to $20 as a pre-order. That's good, right?

The best news is we will be fulfilling from all around the world and in addition to being EU FRIENDLY, we are CANADA and AUSTRALIA FRIENDLY, too! 

PLEASE RESPOND QUICKLY! 

In order to stay on a timeline that allows us to get the games to you on schedule, we need to place our order by the end of September! Please don't hesitate to complete your surveys. We won't charge you until October, but we really need to know what our quantities are. BackerKit is also requiring us to send out a survey "smoke test" to 5% of our backers randomly to sniff out any issues that may be confusing or broken in the survey.  I will be sending this out in the next few hours, so if you get the survey tonight, please help us by completing it.  We aren't allowed to send the survey to the rest of the backers until enough responses suggest everything is working.  

CERTIFIABLE NEWSLETTER

Many of you have already signed up for our newsletter we are starting, and we hope this will grow.  When you complete the survey, you'll be asked if you'd like to opt in. If you do, this will give you a monthly dose of what's going on with our future games and maybe a treat or two along the way. No problem if you don't, but we want you to know it's out there. 

 

OBLIGATORY SURVEY STUFF FROM BACKERKIT

You'll be receiving an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey in the next day or two. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email! After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://who-goes-there.backerkit.com. If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account.

WHAT GOES THERE? SUGAR PONIES AND SURVEYS, OF COURSE!

It's been a busy week since we finished the campaign, but we should probably tell you what's next, right?.  We are using BackerKit for our pledge manager again, and we will have it ready to go by the first of September.  We will leave it open as long as we can, but will ask you to be proactive about completing it so we can finalize our counts with the manufacturer. You'll have all the flexibility to designate your funds, add on, change tiers, etc...but getting your address is kind of important, too. If you have friends that missed the campaign, feel free to tell them they can still pre-order now using the link on the campaign page. As a backer during the campaign, though, this isn't for you.  You will be able to add anything you'd like during the survey, and we don't want to have multiple orders for you.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
